iOnTheSky on Patreon

A photograph of the Aurora Australis captured by an iOnTheSky Generation 1 camera system in Tasmania, 2018.

I am using Patreon to garner support for the development of iOnTheSky’s second-generation camera and sensor network and mobile phone app. Contributing to the project is fairly straightforward. You will need a PayPal account or a credit/debit card and a free Patreon account.

Patreon charges supporters a set amount at the start of each month and forwards the funds to me.

To set up a monthly contribution:

  1. Go to the iOnTheSky Patreon page, check out the project description and video, and have a look at the various support levels (tiers).
  2. Click the big orange “Become a Patron” button in the upper-right corner.
  3. Choose which support level suits you. Beware that pricing is shown in USD, not necessarily your local currency. You can use Google’s currency converter to calculate pricing in your own currency (e.g. AUD or NZD). You can also choose to set your own pricing using the custom pledge button.
  4. Follow the on-screen instructions and enjoy!

Thank you very much for your contribution to this project.
